Children’s Heirloom Portraits
Thoughtfully designed to be a treasured piece of your family’s history - my children’s heirloom portraits are inspired by the fleeting expressions, personalities, and little pieces of childhood I’ve come to treasure in my own three children. As a mother, I know how quickly these seasons change—the way a certain smile looks today, the quiet (but also loud!) mannerisms, the spark in their eyes, and all the precious details you never want to forget.
I am thrilled to host these timeless portrait sessions, so you can hold onto them long after this season has passed and your child has grown.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A general rule of thumb is 6 months to 8 years. For my youngest subjects, it’s best if they are able to confidently sit on a stool alone. However, we can always have a parent or adult support them out of frame!
-
Absolutely! Having siblings sit together for a portrait is such a wonderful addition to this experience. Simply book your children’s sessions back to back and we can make this happen.

Below you can find a curated list of wonderful places to shop for timeless garments. But the best things to keep in mind are to dress your child in light colors that have minimal to no pattern. The nature of these portraits edits best in simple tops. Your child is only photographed from the waist up, so what they wear on the bottom is up to you!

I recommend either ordering custom framing, or sourcing vintage frames either from local thrift shops or online! I’ve had great success finding vintage frames around Austin, and when I look online, Etsy is a great first stop!
